I met this sweet family earlier this month. They’re based in lower Manhattan which I was happy to have an opportunity to visit as it is where we’re moving in July. Yep, another move coming up - meaning I’ll be in the middle of moving boxes in the very near future. However, that should be it for a while!

This little one was not into the shoot at all. She wanted to run free and couldn’t wait for me and my camera to go! It isn’t unusual for toddlers to not show much interest in the session. The secret here is not to force them to do something they don’t want to do, and for the adults to keep their calm. Once the parents get worried about ‘the pictures’, the session turns way more challenging all of the sudden! As you can see here, even with little interest from your child, we still can have a beautiful collection of great images full of memories.
