We had a pretty dark day that morning, but we made it work, and I love the result! It is no secret that I am more of a dark and moody kind of girl (as opposed to light and bright images). I love shadows and deep contrast, especially in black and white.
So here are a few of my favourites images for this at home newborn session. As you can see with this little one, my newborn sessions don’t require for your baby to be under two weeks old or even a month old. I did newborn sessions with babies up to 3 months old.
This session will show you that a newborn session can still very much happen past the two weeks mark. At the time of the session, he was 6 weeks old. Unlike traditionnal newborn photograohy, my sessions do not require a sleeping baby nor a bendy one as I do not do any poses and do not use any props.
