Convenience
Your newborn session will happen a few days or couple of weeks after giving birth, or bringing your little one home. You might be recovering from the birth and adapting to being a mum to this brand new baby.
Having an in-home session means no travelling and no packing required! Leaving the house with a newborn can be stressful and get overwhelming. Having your session in the comfort of your home removes the stress of having to get the whole family out and about!
It is also a time saver, no need to get ready that much time before the session to allow for the journey to the location neither; meaning a more relaxed morning for everyone!
Relaxed and quiet session
No one else but you, dad and your tiny human. No unknown noise or strangers around.
A stress-free session with everything you need at your fingertips: no need to remember everything you need to take with you to nurse or in case there is an accident or snacks are needed.
If there is a sibling, being home will also be much more relaxing for them: having their own toys to play with or snuggling on your own couch etc.

All my newborn session occur in my families’ home. I love it for the convenience it provides my mamas but also because I believe in the power of knowledge photography holds. In-home sessions allow my newborns to cherish the first weeks of their life through photographs that they can’t otherwise remember.
